How to choose the right implant?

How to determine if an implant is truly high-quality?

What should a quality implant cost?

What is the difference between premium, good, and regular implants?

  • Osteointegration

This is the process of an implant integrating with bone tissue. For regular implants, this can take 5-6 months. Higher-quality implants reduce this time to 3 months, while premium implants, like those from Swiss company Straumann, reduce it to 1 month due to their unique composition.
  • Implant success rate

A critical indicator of quality implants, leading and reliable companies have success rates above 98.5%, reaching up to 99.6%. Cheaper implants cannot match this level of reliability.
  • In-house innovations

Patented alloys, threads, coatings, bone creation, membrane systems, and deep scientific and clinical research all contribute to the longevity of an implant. Developing such technologies takes decades and significant resources, meaning a good implant cannot be cheap.
  • Wide range of implants

Long-term patient studies allow for the development of products tailored to specific situations. Premium brands offer several implant lines with a wide variety of prosthetic abutments, which regular implants lack.

DENTIUM

The optimal choice

Dentium actively collaborates with renowned universities and industry leaders to validate and demonstrate the clinical and technical excellence of its products – as the number of successful clinical cases distinguishes ordinary implants from premium ones.

With its flagship implant line, Superline, Dentium is confidently moving towards success. Despite having Osstem (reportedly among the top 3 most used implants worldwide) as its direct competitor at home, Dentium is making significant strides in the Korean market and is widely expanding into Canada, the USA, China, and Europe.

Dentium Superline implants are high-class systems used for restoring any dental arch defects, including edentulism in the smile zone. They are suitable for express implantation and staged prosthesis placement. With lengths ranging from 7 to 14 mm and diameters up to 5.8 mm, they offer the ideal option for various dental tasks. Dentium Superline implants feature a double-thread design with a unique configuration, simplifying installation and reducing tissue trauma. The structure of the titanium shaft prevents movement within the bone, allowing for quick and uncomplicated osseointegration.

All on 4 AND All on 6 PROSTHETICS SUPPORTED BY IMPLANTS

WHEN YOU DON’T WANT TO WEAR A FULL REMOVABLE DENTURE DUE TO ITS DISADVANTAGES

The All-on-4 and All-on-6 implantation methods are indicated for patients with complete tooth loss in the upper or lower jaw, or when existing teeth are destroyed, loose, or show signs of mobility. These methods involve placing 4 or 6 implants in the jaw and subsequently loading them with a fixed or removable prosthesis. The choice of the appropriate method depends on bone thickness, jaw size, and the number of remaining teeth.

All-on-4 is a method involving the placement of 4 implants in the jaw. Two implants are installed vertically in the front section, while the other 2 implants are placed at an angle of 30-45° in the distal areas, where the bone tissue is best preserved.

This method allows for two types of prosthetics: removable and fixed. Removable prostheses consist of 14 teeth, fully restoring chewing function and providing an aesthetic appearance, as this number of teeth is sufficient for creating a beautiful smile line and effective chewing. However, this option is not suitable for all patients, as the prostheses need to be removed and cleaned.

Another option for prosthetics on 4 implants is a fixed prosthesis with 10-12 teeth. The downside is that this number of teeth may not provide a complete smile line. Therefore, if the patient wants a fixed prosthesis with more teeth, we recommend prosthetics on 6 implants.

All-on-6 is an advanced and refined version of the All-on-4 method. With more implants, the load on the prosthesis is distributed more evenly, which reduces the risk of the prosthesis becoming loose. Due to its increased stability, All-on-6 allows for the installation of fixed prostheses with 14 crowns, providing complete restoration of chewing function. The downside of this method is its higher cost.
